How about a redirect after uninstall

#1

When someone removes an app, the only thing that happens is an invisible installation event with action set to deleted. I don’t know how to tell the user anything at that point. I don’t think I can get to email addresses from users right?

How about a redirect-after-uninstall? Then I can present something to the user who just uninstalled the app. Like for example ‘hey sorry to see you go, do you actually want to delete all the data associated with this app’.

You can, if the user decided to make their email address public:

Notice the note here:

Thanks for the suggestion, @st3fan – I’ll mention this to the team to consider, but can’t make any promises.

Just to make sure we understand the usefulness of this, can you share examples of other use-cases for this (not just asking “do you want to delete all the data associated with the app?” – is there anything else that you’d use this for)?
