"release" webhook not emitted on update

#1

Hey there, I want to create a GitHub app which keeps releases in sync with a 3rd party service. For that I need to receive a webhook not only when a release is created, but also when it is updated. That does not seem to be implemented at this point: https://developer.github.com/webhooks/#events

I’ve tested it and I only received the “release” webhook when a release was created. Any chance you could add webhooks when releases are updated (and removed)?

Hi @gr2m,

I’ve confirmed that we don’t have an “updated” event for releases, only the “published” event.

I’m passing this on to the team as a request for a new hook.

Thanks!

+1 on this issue, would be great to get this implemented for semantic-release and pre-releases.
