Retrieved token is unusable immediately

I auth, get a working key, and my application then tries to clone a repository using http https://x-access-token:<TOKEN>@github.com/.../....git. Git fails, and I get an access unauthorized error. But when I manually try the clone, it works.

Until I have a proper answer, I’m setting it up to get a new key 5 minutes before the first one’s EXP, and then swapping them on the first keys EXP so that the new key is simi aged. While I don’t feel like this is a proper solution, it seems to be the working solution.

Hey @GrimTheReaper! The installation tokens don’t last forever, so the approach you’re taking works. And just to confirm for you, you are correctly formatting your call based on this documentation.
