We’re building a GitHub app for which it’s quite important to enforce GitHub repo access levels for each user.
This means we need to subscribe to webhook events to keep our ACL data up to date (as well as periodically refresh it).
However, it seems that GitHub apps can’t subscribe to
member events, which means we’re not notified when
… a User is added or removed as a collaborator to a Repository, or has their permissions modified.
Are there plans for this type of webhook event to be available soon? If yes, what kind of timeline are we looking at? If no, why not?
